What are the arrangements for common dining and what kind of food would be available there?

Dining together is one of the key activities that makes human social and encourages friendship and companionship. The social interactions are even more important in senior citizens. Accordingly, a large dining hall is located on the ground floor of the building where residents can enjoy their meals together. Vegetarian food would be cooked at site and served at the communal dining area. Good wholesome food would be made with utmost care and under strict hygienic conditions and as recommended by a dietician. Residents committee would be encouraged to give inputs to the menu. Special dietary requirements will also be catered for. While the residents are free to cook food of their own choice in their own residences, it is recommended that at least one meal per day be eaten in the communal dining area, to ensure the viability of the same, and also to promote interaction among residents.
